Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning

Founded in August, 2009, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning exists to facilitate university-wide assessment and planning with specific reference to the accreditation requirements of the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC), and to the initiatives of the University System of Georgia (USG). The Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning works with vice presidents, deans, directors, chairs, and faculty to facilitate and coordinate outcomes assessment of all academic units and programs, as well as student support services across campus, consults with the Director of Institutional Research on collection and circulation of assessment data, and generally facilitates the strategic planning process.
