The Task Force on Academic Excellence would like to present an opportunity for faculty to develop interdisciplinary associations in their courses. Within the faculty there is a vast resource of knowledge available for collaborative teaching efforts. The concept is that interested faculty members provide a list of topics in which some expertise is offered. These topics are incorporated into a database enabling faculty to search for those with related interests. If a mutual interests are discovered, the parties involved have the opportunity to discuss possible collaboration.
